Service Description

This class focuses on cultivating healthy, functional movement patterns- something we often lack without realizing it. You will organically grow in your awareness of the power that lives within your breath, physical body, & emotional weather patterns, as well as your relationship to the world around you. Each class begins with breathwork/ pranayama- the vital life force that abides within. Learn different breathing techniques that can aid in any situation. Intentionally connecting to the breath then the body through movement will assist with enhancing neurological connections of the brain. Clearing out any “cluttered” areas of the mind & body can lead to an expanded view of the emotional being. Practicing yoga that was developed by a physical therapist, these postures and transitions will work to correct deep-rooted dysfunctional muscle patterns over time through body mapping. By exploring the anatomy of the body, focusing on the stabilizing of key areas, then expanding mobility & range of motion of the joints, you will naturally develop a core, foundational strength to carry you through your week. Yoga is the unity of all things. Allow it to occupy the space around you. View the connection of the sky & the earth, the light of day & the dark of night, the masculine & the feminine, the yin & the yang. Find balance inside & out with this beautifully balancing class!
